Barrett-Jackson Comes To Orange County. "Something tells me I'm into something good!"

The Barrett-Jackson Auto Auction made it's first appearance in So Cal at the Orange County Fairgrounds on June 25-27th with the kick off gala dinner on the Wednesday before. While enjoying the cocktail hour guests were treated to a sneak preview of some of the cars that would be auctioned off over the weekend. The quality and diversity of the cars makes Barrett-Jackson one of the premier auction houses in the country. After drooling a bit it was on to the main room for a surf n' turf dinner, a glass of wine and some great entertainment by the one and only Peter Noone and "Hermans Hermits." It wasn't long before Peter and the band had the whole room up and dancing to some of their greatest hits like "I'm into something good" or "Can't you hear my heart beat." It was a blast dancing (and singing along) to the songs that we grew up with in the 60's and 70's. It was also refreshing to see a performer who has stayed on his game and sounds as good as he did back in the day. Thanks Peter and the band for helping to make it such a memorable evening. Thanks also to Bo and Dick Marconi for their generosity and their work with Childhelp and helping to raise money for this special charity.

If you were looking for a Corvette you came to
the right place.

"Yenko"

Deb found her favorite....

There was a little something for everybody.
Well maybe not so little....

A 59' Caddy convertible. This looks familiar.

Look at the body lines and the chrome. Americana
at it's best.

Michelle and John Marconi with Debbie. Great
to catch up with this busy couple.

What this table needed was a big centerpiece.
Oh wait, it had one....

Mike Spagnola, (far right) seems to be where the
action is at all times. We don't know how he does it.

Our generous hosts, Bo and Dick Marconi.

As co chair of the event, Bo Marconi had some
presentations to make. They raised a considerable
amount of money for Childhelp. http://www.childhelp.org/.

Lead auctioneer for Barrett-Jackson, "Spanky"

Guess who?

We're back in the 60's...

You need to check out Peter Noone's web site,
Check out this link for a trip down memory lane.

Peter and the band had everyone up dancing.
(and yes, we all made fools of ourselves!)

Mike Spagnola had to leave early...I'm sure he
had to get to another gig. But a great time was
had by all.

"ConGraduations to Jamie Costanza!" 2010 Cal Poly Pomona Grad celebrates with friends and family at AREA 51.

It was party time when the Costanza family decided to celebrate their daughter's graduation from Cal Poly Pomona at AREA 51. 100 plus people gathered to show their support and honor Jamie's academic success and accomplishments from the southern California school. With "The Hoister Bar" in full swing and Victor from Taco's La Paloma providing a variety of Mexican fare, no one went thirsty or hungry. Young and old (...some very young) enjoyed the night visiting and reflecting on Jamie's life and what she has meant to so many. It was a beautiful evening with a beautiful family. Congratulations Jamie on a job well done. We still wish you would have driven your new Camaro into the party! Now THAT would have been an entrance!

.....don't argue. You better "Stop" and party!

This pretty much sums it up!

It's always all smiles at "The Hoister Bar."

Chris and Becky Shevlin never miss a party.

Victor getting ready to start feeding the masses.

Craigar giving Jamie a beautiful bouquet of
flowers and sharing a few stories about the new
grad.

Jamie was all smiles all night.

Flowers are nice...but Champagne is better!!

....very young and old celebrated with Jamie.

Seems like everyone got a turn to hold the baby!
"Who handles your title insurance little guy?"

AJ and Erica did a great job as always making
sure everything ran smoothly. Thanks, kids!

The Costanza Brothers! (that's dad in the middle)

I guess AJ was on a break....yeah, right.

Jan and Dean had it wrong...it's "3 boys
for every girl!"

Congratulations Jamie and thank you Costanza
family for letting us celebrate with you. What
a great night!!!
